Shipping costs is basically the most heart-wrenching cost of all international trade.
I tested the Basket feature of Mini Speed of UK once.
When I checked out the shipping cost for a Piper BP300 race camshaft, the cost for the cam is £65.
The camshaft is 2 kilograms in weight, so the shipping cost to Malaysia is quoted at £35.
After adding up to £452 of items totaling up to 9 kilograms, the shipping costs is around £85.
What a big difference!
So a good tip will be to accumulate all you can first, and then buy them.
And that means, saving up first.
Ouch! Some things can't seem to wait.
And this also means I can never order a 180kg Mini Turbo engine or something as heavy.
