Blood Donut

Just back from Seremban Terminal 1 Shopping Complex.

Did some small-time shopping, and donated blood there.

Since it's my first time, I shudder a little at the small pains I might encounter. But it went smoothly, without so much fuss.

I feel that more people should donate blood, do it regularly, and support it wholeheartedly.

The Tiny Washer

Had a good deal of time washing the car with Muzaffar.

Most of the time, Muzaffar ended up getting washed instead of the car.

He was loving the soaking-wetness.

And he did some rinsing himself, but more ended up on him rather than the car.

New Skin

This is STELLAR in his new skin.

By the way, that's my other uncle, not the painter specialist.

Picture taken at kampong, still in painting garage, waiting for full polishing to finish.

Boss' New Cars

I am just back from the Lumut trip. Now I'm at KLIA for the trip to Terengganu. I'm a bit too early there I know, but some things just can't wait.

The new Proton Gen2 my boss just acquired on Monday was behaving well. I was expecting there would be some traditional Proton traits on it (read: flaws) but it didn't. Or it didn't just yet.

I even get to drive it for about 30 kilometers or so. And while it was still in running-in mode, we drove around 3000rpm at most, and no problems are apparent.

I hope the boss enjoyed the Gen2, and the Perdana he's about to acquire next week.

Back To Work

I have not been in the office for quite a while. I think it was two weeks ago that I last attended office.

For the past two weeks, I have been to Lumut. Both ships need lots of TLC. And I guess it's about done last Friday.

Come tomorrow, there will be another visit. Probably won't take more than a day for that.

Now, about Muzaffar. He's still not well. The cough still persists, especially at night. I hope the ENT visit on the 9th will relieve him of most of the cough, and by the 23rd, he is fully well.

And my, he's so jealous! He just can't allow his mother to hold another baby in her arms. He wants his mother just for himself. I don't know how he will cope if ever his first sibling appears. And by the way, the baby happens to be my cousin's first son, born on Aidil Adha day. He weighs 2.5kg.

mom: mama nak pegang baby ni.
son: mama bom, mama bom, bom sini, bom sini (asking mom to put the baby down)

mom: bendera
son: madika (merdeka)

mom: ayam jantan cock
son: ayam tan kok

mom: ikan fish
son: kan fish

dad: nasi goreng
son: nasi yeng

Hard Hat MICK

Finally done on Lumut hard hat works.

Left Lumut after Friday prayers, and arrived to Sungai Buluh at about 6pm.

Used the Lumut-Telok Intan-Sabak Bernam-Assam Jawa-Sungai Buluh road. I'm not the driver, by the way.

Arrived home close to 8.30pm.

Two Years

He's two years old!

I can't hardly think of him as a baby. He's so mature.

When other two year olds are still picking up foreign stuffs to put in their mouths, Muzaffar recognizes that only food and medicine are to be consumed.

When other two year olds are still growing teeth, Muzaffar already has most of it.

When other two year olds are still learning one language, Muzaffar learns two. It should be anytime that he learns three.

Muzaffar has his own TV box. For learning, that is.

Muzaffar has his own room, will full of things only he understands.

And guess what? Muzaffar still breastfeeds. And he doesn't seem to want to stop anytime soon.

By the way, we had a small get-together today, at our house for his birthday, which was two days late. The highlights was Laksa Sarawak, and lots of chocolate.

Happy birthday Jappa!

HMS Resolution

This is my resolution for the Gregorian New Year. I might add one or two more come Hijri New Year, who knows?

To finally have some form of saving in my bank account.
To finally have a clean and uncluttered office partition.
To delve in photography.
To take good care and provide better education to Muzaffar.

PS: 5 days too late to resolute.

White Water Drafting

It was raining the moment I set foot outside.

It was 6.30am. I had to head for the airport early, to catch my 8.30am Airasia flight to Kuala Lumpur.

It was still raining when I entered the airplane.

When I see the water sidedraft effect caused by the engine while the plane was taxiing, I know I will witness something I will not usually see.

As the plane forcefully accelerates, it became frantic. It's hundredfold of white water.

Oooh I love this moment. And the phenomenal acceleration and lift-off too.

You know, I could get used to this.

The clouds are beautiful. And my camera batteries are dead. Both of them. It doesn't mix I know.

I think I saw Malacca before the last corner before the landing. Or was it Morib?

Anyways, I miss my son. Arrived home and gave him a big hug.

PS: Started posting in Escaping Reality-In Pictures the original size picture. I cannot compromise in quality.
